In the English Matura – Writing Workshop you will learn about the entire writing process and its main stages:

In our English Matura – Writing Workshop you will learn how to:

generate and focus your ideas.

write focused topic sentences and thesis statements, which will guide you in writing logical, unified paragraphs and texts.

refine and perfect your work, making it free of grammatical and punctuation errors.
We will pay special attention to the most common problems students encounter when writing in English, such as structuring texts (paragraphs, topic sentences, linking words), dealing with vocabulary problems when writing, argumentation (giving arguments and evidence, coming to a conclusion), and finally, avoiding mistakes and proofreading.
When you finish this workshop, you will be able to write clearly, logically, and cohesively – you can keep your sentences from all sounding the same, emphasise the most important ideas, and communicate the “tone” that you want – and you will be able to apply what you have learned in the test setting, too.
